    The way it works is that you are in a dash section with The Gaia Colossus and you have to dodge fireballs which he will throw at you.

    Once you past that you get to the section with Sonic where you have to get his eyes in a very very tight time limit and if you run out you die (obviously).

    The reason being is because the third time you repeat the process he throws the fireballs out so fast you can't even breathe.

    He has 2 forms which is Perfect Dark Gaia which is easily the most epic boss fight in the game but he is also the hardest.

    Yes apparently the game expects you to mash the button at inhuman speeds but don't worry once you've accomplished that congratulations you have beat the game and get to watch him burn in hell where he belongs.
