Not sure why people are taking that rumor seriously when you have Zelda U coming up so they would have to anticipate it being a big hit because Zelda sells. But then again with it being possible, the ceasing of production would be shooting themselves in the foot as they did with amiibo. They said this several times: The NX will NOT be a replacement for the Wii U.
