I've been at chapter 10 for hours now. Before I give in and consult walkthrough I would like to give it one more go. This time I want some tips from you guys. The longest I've managed is 9 player phases and 8 enemy phases.

have effie block off the upper left area where they break the partician, have dragonstone avatar wall the chokepoint to right of the lower ballista, have odin or nyx at the fire orb, target the lower enemies, not the left ones, have niles and archer mozu use the ballista's, azura to let the lower ballista or fire orb be used more

felicia to pick off stragglers by corrin, elise kept in the center so she can reach anyone that needs healing in most of the areas, 1/2 units with niles/mozu at the right ballista to defend the ballista, when camilla arrives have beruka pair with her and put her below the lower ballista to keep off the now heavier flow of enemies, selena as pair up for anyone who needs it
