When you meet someone, and somewhere along the conversation they say, "Oh, I'm really funny." No. No you're not. Not at all. The pity laughs, and "hehs" were to spare your feelings, and for me to not have to talk to you. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." keeps me quiet.

    I don't understand the extroverts... if you don't like the person then why talk to them at all? Why give fake compliments? ... This may also be a comment on how direct and somewhat soulless I can be in conversations...

    I try to be polite to everyone and give everyone a bit of talk, but some people can't read body language. It's usually when someone I know introduces me to someone they know, then they neglect to tell that person that I don't like to talk to people.

    You know what I REALLY hate about the phrase "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?" It's pretty much saying "Uh I'm super sensitive and have a blimp sized ego, so only give me praise and affection." That, calling people bullies/trolls, begging for attention, and other things along those lines drive me insane. I'm sure you can relate.

    Reaus, we could make an Introvert apparel company. lol Oran, I don't condone being mean to anyone. I do, however, support hiding insults in between politeness. You get to say your piece, and you don't come off as a "bad guy". Win-win, right?

    It's not like sarcasm. Sarcasm is overused, and obvious to spot. Ex: Saying, "Wow! That jacket looks really nice for only being $15!" while you secretly know it's a pretty high-end jacket. Like that, except more discrete.
