I've often pondered the meaning of these triangles surrounding the Triforce... The crests of power and wisdom have both been tainted by human hands; the former lies with Ganon, forced to obey his vile heart, while the latter has been split in two, and swept away into hiding...But the crest of courage remains free and pure, a symbol of the great hero, the only one who can still rid Hyrule of evil.
