    Idk if I did mine right, but it made a completely new app for my Wii U homepage, so I have Sketchpad and Home Studio on the main menu. My old stuff never transfered either, but it's still there. I just upgraded last week! Also, just a heads up, a lot of the techniques are different now. You'll have to play and get use to it, but I recommend it! Hope this helps some!

    Oh! So its independent? That's great, thanks! And what do you mean by change of techniques? Could it be that it works more like a digital app than mimic real life tools?

    For example, it's harder to transfer color from colored pencils in the update than Sketchpad. You have to color more and longer over a space. For pastels, blending is much easier. Just little things like that. (^-^)

    And it is very good at mimicing real life tools! I take a figure drawing class for college and we use charcoal 90% of the time and Home Studio's charcoal is pretty accurate, as well with the colored pencils. I love the realistic texture for the paint feature as well. I don't have much experience w/ pastels, but now instead of colored pencils, I'm using that with the update.
