    Gold Points are earned when purchasing digital versions of games from Nintendo com or Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Both Platinum and Gold Points can be redeemed for rewards like games, download content, in-app items and eShop discount coupons.

    Nintendo is also launching an enhanced Wii U and Nintendo 3DS shop on Nintendo.com on March 31 for users with a Nintendo Account to purchase digital games. Featuring an expanded catalog of more than 2,000 games, this digital store can be accessed on personal computers or smart devices. You can earn gold coins for game purchases from the site.     In order to use My Nintendo, do you have to have Nintendo Account? Just wondering, because it does not allow us Scandinavians register Nintendo Account right now and we get My Nintendo on Thursday.

    lol, it says pre-register now but the my nintendo page says "page could not be found" nintendo bruh type the links correctly! XDDD (I'm completely honest here, it really says "page could not be found" on the my nintendo miitomo pre-register link.)

    I'd love to see how the "enhanced eShop" will turn out… Is it something like a web-based Nintendo eShop - accessible with Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc. - that integrates with My Nintendo? I wonder how that'll interface with the 3DS's eShop application. Hopefully it'll let us change the application's BGM? I'm sick of the current one, and would rather switch back to the 2011 eShop music.

    I bet the app won't be supported on Windows phones. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't, no developer supports apps on the Windows store. If Pokemon Shuffle isn't available, I guess I can also kiss this app goodbye.
