if you look carefully there are clues that tell you which is the right box. outside the house is 3 coins and a block, so the 4th box in the first room is the right one. in that room theres 4 coins with a gap in the middle, so its the 3rd box in the second room

but where it gets tricky is that the second room has 5 enemies in a row as the clue. but theres 5 boxes in that same room. but the clue to the second room is in the first room so the clue in the second room is for the third room and so on.lol

Yeah, I got the first two clues, and understood that they were off by one, but all the other ones were confusing me. I think I ignored the enemies, and was trying to use the mushrooms in the background as clues XD
