Marcus is the kind of person who can make friends with just about anybody, with his laid-back, go-with-the-flow, personality, and his general interest in a wide variety of subjects, he is even able to befriend cold-hearted Danny through their mutual love of comics. He's just one of those guys people like to be around, and it's mostly because of him that Danny begins to open up more.
