I've complained about Twilight Princess a lot in the fact that I think almost all the darkness its the story is a poor attempt to outdo Majora's Mask, but credit where it's due, this line is pretty ominous. It's a huge shame that they never build on it, but it does make you ponder what kind of disaster would have hit Hyrule had Link become a messenger of evil instead of a warrior of light.
