From a certain stand point, the aerofols makes for the most dangerous miniboss in the game. I say that because he guards the item that is his weakness: the clawshot. So the enemy couldn't have predicted Link would already have a clawshot when he got here, so they put this aerofols in charge of the chest in here thinking Link would have a bad time handling him.
