on the path up the death mountain trail you will notice a goron child up on a ledge after clearing the dungeon in this area. use your clawshot to get up and then travel to the left side (Right if playing Hero mode because its mirrored which is what i am playing) there should be a hole that leads to a chest containing this piece of heart.
