Possibly controversial opinion: I'm not opposed to the use of cheating devices for getting Pokémon for competitive battling as long as they have abilities and moves that can be obtained somehow legitimately.     (cont) not playing a format where all legendaries are banned (and most of those are jokes anyway tbh). There's also the consideration of moves that can be obtained through old events, but not now; they're still technically legal moves, but you'd be hard-pressed to get them legitimately today.

    I know it can be annoying tryring to get that perfect team. But I feel as though there is a lot more satisfaction when you watch a team you built from scratch win a ton of battles. It took me forever to get an Ally Switch defensive Cofagrigus, but now I'm so glad I got it. The only thing missing from my doubles team is an adamant Regigigas.
