    Yes i played link between worlds, but I feel as if the world of zelda was born to be in a 3D landscape. Its always nice to just stand there, and look at the mountains or hyrule once in a while :)

    Y U NO SAY TWILIGHT PRINCESS!!! X( Simple. It is lacking in the adventure and Zeldaness aspects. The game relys far too much on LINK. LINK's world, LINK's friends, LINK's village. LINK's horse. It wasn't about you anymore, and instead of allowing you to sink into the amazing environment aroynd you, it used cutscenes and bloom lighting as crutches.

    Zelda needs to be about YOU. That's why you can type "DINGUS" into the file creation screen: Link isn't Link, he's Dingus. That's why the Mai-Mais upgraded what Dingus wanted, not what Link was scripted to seek. In Ocarina, you didn't even need Epona; you could use the hookshot to access Gerudo valley.

    This is because they wanted Dingus to fre Epona from that hellhole, and to form that personal bond with that horse. "But what about Majora's Mask? It tries to be dark!" True, but that is merely an aspect to the game. You don't HAVE to help Anju and Kafei. You don't HAVE to keep "Them" from reaching Romani. You WANT to.

    A game world should be about the player, and as such should unfold around the player. This is why Wind Waker and A Link Between Worlds take top two. They give you the reins. In Wind Waker, you have a beautiful world full of characters, islands and secrets. In ALBW, you can challenge dungeons in any order, use any item you wish; it challenges you to think creatively, rather than holding your hand.
