I did that and didn't realize you can spend 30,000 and put more slots on your gear. I think I have almost everything.

You go to Spyke on the right side in the ally. You choose slots, if you have sea snails you've won from Splatfest, you use those first, once those are gone, you use your your coins. Just choose what gear you want and you can have up to 3 extra, if you don't like what you get once you have all 3 filled, you can re roll them for the same price. Hope this helps. Gret

Also, get familiar with what each ability does, so you can do more in battle and on your game pad to the right, it tells you what they all mean. When you change up your gear, if you choose x, it'll also tell you what each ability is as well.

Every so often they have one. Google it and it will show you some past ones. They just had one Friday the 18th. The theme was would you rather build a snowman or sandcastle. You choose which theme you want and it lasts for 24 hours and who ever has the most points at the end wins. You get sea snails regardless, just depends how high you got on the battle meter.
