    one of the things I don't like about this game is that it tries too hard to be dark and scary. But Majora's Mask didn't try to be dark and was darker than Twilight Princess could even dream. Don't get me wrong I love TP but I wouldn't call it dark.

    Majora's Mask is anything but dark. Period. Is bizarre, yes, is sad, yes, not dark. Because, there's is the catch. Link's action on MM has no impact whatsover, when you beat majora's everything is fixed because magic. Here, no. You learn early on that most of the "Twilight monsters" are in fact people, and you're unable to cure them. And we don't have a magical fix everything instrument.
