  • Cheep Cheep: With physical attributes similar to a large bass and a flying fish, the Cheep Cheep inhabit most of the oceans in the Mushroom Kingdom. While preferring tropical waters, they can be found in caverns and deeper parts of the sea. These creatures are generally omnivorous, although they usually don't hunt for food. They'll typically swallow up any small sea plantlife they can find, but

  • they have been known to occasionally trail behind Blooper Nannies to snag an unsuspecting young Blooper. While most of their subspecies are nothing more than recolored variations, these are the only species of those variants who have been shown to leap tremendous distances out of the water, thanks to their muscular tails and wind-catching fins.

  • Boss Bass/Big Bertha: This massive species, a relative to the Cheep Cheep, is extremely aggressive. The males are often called Boss Basses, while Big Bertha is what the residents have dubbed the females, who are shown to have white areas around their eyes. Regardless of gender, these creatures are incredibly dangerous. Being hypercarnivores, they will eat any living creature that they can find.

  • While they tend to prefer things as big or smaller than themselves, they will more than happily attempt to capture bigger prey if given a chance. While they have many of them, their teeth aren't for chewing, but rather trapping prey, as it swallows It whole. These creatures tend to be solitary in nature,(unlike Cheep Cheeps, who travel in schools) but if they find a partner, then the male will

  • Spiny Cheep Cheep: Another relative to the Cheep Cheep, these are yet another aggressive species! While not particularly carnivores,(they are omnivorous, but don't eat quite as much of the plantlife) they see no trouble in hunting other aquatic species(like Bloopers, or even smaller variants of the Cheep Cheep) if they intrude on it's home, as these are highly territorial. Unlike it's relatives,

  • this creature has a natural defense against most predators! It's whole body is covered with rigid, spiny skin and it possesses five large spines on it's back that are tipped with poison. Not even a Dragoneel can stomach this thing, but certain species can get around its toxins and spikes.
