There's something I'm a bit worried about.

Is Sonic 3 & Knuckles to powerful to be properly emulated on the original 3DS?

    Perhaps. S3&K utilized the dual lock-on feature that was considered to be ahead of its time. But I'm not sure if DLC will be used, or if there are different modes. Simply... I don't know. But I want S3&K to be on VC, for sure. One of my favorite Sonic games of all time.

    To be honest I would rather S3&K be exclusive to the N3DS than split apart and on the o3DS.

    I think it's because Nintendo likes an idea of S3&K of it's lock–on technology that makes up for it ever since Sega made it so they decide they to put it on the Wii virtual console. But Xbox 360 and PS3 got S3&K on the virtual console fully completed with having an lock–on technology decision.

    But if Nintendo does put S3&K on eshop, I hope it'll be an fully completed mode of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on eshop & not having an decision of playing it first and second half alone of Sonic 3 threw the lock–on technology mode. And I agree S3&K is my personal favorite Sonic game and one of my all time favorite games next to my other favorite games like Super Metroid.
