Bullies on For Glory

I frequently see mean people on For Glory, they do things like taunt all the time, spam one move repetitively, and stall at the character select screen when they're not even choosing a new character. What are your experiences with these people and is there anyway to report them ?

Yes, you can go on your friends list and there's some feature where you can see the last around 50 people you've played against online. You can report them from there.

I understand everything else, but what's wrong with taunting? If you are that sensitive, don't play online.

Well when I play online people only taunt at me when they Ko me which dosen't usually happen!

I met a bunch of bullies in For Glory and here are my experiences with them: 1. They will always curse at me no matter what. Either I win or lose, it's no big difference. They would say 'git gud' or 'u suck'. It's very annoying! 2. They will always stall in the character selection screen and it's very time consuming! By the way, at the end of a match, you can report them by pressing X. (^o^)

@Remedy The problem isn't taunting once, its when someone taunts three times in a row after just even hitting you. Sonics are the absolute worst.

Um, I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen. Especially since you are vulnerable while taunting.

All that is really more arrogance, ignorance/lack of skill and just being slow respectively. That's honestly not really bullying, in my opinion. Now if we're talking about people hurling insults, then yes, that's bullying.

@Remedy They wait till your off the ledge [ keep in mind from an attack that will not kill you, just knock you offstage ] then spam three short taunts @Madelyn Does this work in the 3DS version ? I've never seen that before.

You can only taunt a limited number of times. You start with 2 and are given 1 for every KO you do. Recovering doesn't take that long either. It happened to me to. I've been called a female dog and bunch of other immature things. The funny thing is they leave right afterwards. What a bunch of wimps.

@Remedy that's awful that people would say such cruel things. People on For Glory are really arrogant cowards. Do you ever deal with horrible laggers ? They make the game almost unplayable and the controls become so unresponsive.

Oh, it's not that bad. I find their arrogance pitiful. Most of the time they leave after winning sudden death. It's hilarious how they think they are professionals. I usually change my name to LAG then leave when playing against people with bad WiFi. If it's my WiFi (due to wind or something) I don't play online.

Can someone explain to me how spamming = bullying? Also you shouldn't be so sensitive about people taunting, the point of a taunt after a K.O is to disrespect. Don't take it so personally.

Stalling?... First of all -consider someone might have gone to bathroom or for a quick drink (like me). Sometimes people like to cool off for few moments after heated match. I sometimes wait a bit after wrecking someone to see if they quit or stay. I mean, it's only a minute. It's not like they're robbing you of hours or anything.

I don't get how you don't understand how spamming is annoying, if thats your playstyle fine, but please understand that spam is not looked highly upon.I don't have trouble with spam, I just find it very boring and it has no variety.

He said he didn't understand why spamming is bullying, not annoying. These are 2 separate things. And spam can be repetitive and boring. Besides the player doesn't develop that way.

@Sebek N I take breaks betwen battles too, I understand that. I am talking about people who come back for multiple rematches and wait until the timer runs out on the character select screen every time.

@Sebek N I'm not sensitive, someone blocked my the other day because I didn't share his opinion on a game, I never said anything to him, he must have seen a post he didn't agree with. Yet, I found his immaturity laughable and it doesn't bother me.
