In Petit Cup, Omanyte is very powerful. He does have huge defense and Special Stats, compared to other pre-evolved pokémon. He also learns Surf and Blizzard, both very powerful moves. Though his weakness is any pokémon with Mega Drain and he is stuck at level 30 if you want to use him in Petit Cup.
