    @gamemaster It is a complicated way of doing it. You have to beat the game one time, then go into 2 player mode. As Mario, go to 1-2 and die. Then as Luigi, go to 5-2 and have a mushroom equiped. Go to the second hammer bro, lose your power up, and hit the vine block. Go to the bottom of the vine, and wait for the hammer bro. to throw a hammer on the vine. As that happens, go up it and get killed

    by the hammer. When it goes back to Mario, the vine will go up. It is caused by Luigi going up the vine to trigger the glitch. If you go up all the way, there is an animation of the vine going uo. By dying, the game does not know what to do with the vine so it appears on 1-2 to trigger the animation. It is tricky to do, but possible, also look on Youtube if you are still confused, enjoy trying it!
