When someone tells you "Trust nobody", doesn't that all-encompassing statement include themselves? If I can't trust them, either, then I can't trust the fact that everybody is untrustworthy. That means that everybody IS trustworthy, including the guy who told me to not trust anybody. That means I can trust his judgement that everybody is untrustworthy, which means I can't trust him, which... Huh?

    That rule is in place for determining a grammatical error. It is not the standard by which I expect people to write their comments. I made an error, but I did not intend to write flawlessly.
