    No. It doesn't make sense. Turtles can't drive and they're too slow and the speed is decent. I'm calling animal patrol on the cloud because its not gray. (this is just a joke?)

    Yeah well that's just the world of Mario for you in a nutshell. Turtles with shells you can detach by jumping on them, flying fish, red pac-men that come out of sewers, a dragon lizard with 8 (and counting) castles... and last but not least, a talking mushroom that is if no earthly help to you ... This list could go on and on.
