In a comment chain I'm in, we were talking about the possibility of a Half Gerudo-Half Hylian Link in a game one day, and that he is the male born every 100 years. So I obviously had to draw what I think he'd look like!

    Like, the spirit of the hero gets into only Hylians, yet Link definitely has to be a Gerudo in a Zelda game one day, so half! In OoT, that one Gossip Stone says Gerudo ladies come to Hyrule looking for boyfriends, so it could happen... ¦:^)

    You say it could happen, I say it needs to. That would be a fantastic twist. Gerudo are thieves, aren't they? Imagine if Link was a thief at the start like Disney's Alladin. It would be like a stealth game where you're stealing, but then you find out you're the hero destined to save Hyrule, but you're still all ninja-y.

    We were talking about how everytime Gerudos are mentioned, they're 'evil thieves' because of Ganondorf, and I'm pretty sure that they are thieves because of him. The Gerudo don't always have evil leaders, the spirit of Demise just was born into one. I'd think in this Gerudo Link game, the Gerudo and the Hylians are friendly because of Link/the previous leader.

    Maybe the bad guy of this game would threaten both kingdoms' relationship? Like, a series of misunderstandings take place that make the races hostile towards each other, yet they are all caused by the bad guy. Maybe this game can have more of a political story, but ya still get to be sneaky and do dungeons and such!

    I have no idea where in the timeline this Gerudo Link story would take place, but I think it'd have to be somewhere in the Unified timeline or the Child timeline, but I'd opt more for the Child timeline. Yeah, it'd have to be after MM and before TP, because the Gerudo vanish between them. Wait! Since OoT Link does have kids, maybe one of his descendants are a main character in the game?

    But nah, they wouldn't be big-time thieves in this game, as they are able to get resources from the Hylians.

    I like it! Definitely between Majora and Twilight princess. I like the idea of a Hylian wanting to get rid of the Gerudo because of Ganondorf, trying to convince the Hylians and gather an army, but this Gerudo Link has to stop it and unite both sides and face off with them.

    So at the beginning of the game everyone's nice, but then everyone slowly begins to become hostile until you're having to sneak around Hyrule to not get attacked.

    Perhaps it would result in another split in the timeline? If he's unsuccessful we get Twilight Princess but if he's successful we get a new game. Again, I need this so bad!

    Or maybe he's destined to 'fail', as most Gerudos are massacred in some big final battle, yet he and a few might still live? But by the time TP rolls around, it's been bred out through the generations, yet the Gerudo is noticeable in a few people, like Telma.

    Jeez! A game where you're destined to fail... Like a bittersweet ending where you defeat the villain, but the rest of the Gerudo are lost in battle. That's so dark, I love it.

    This Link could then become the uniting force between all of the races in the end, perhaps just flat out the king of Hyrule. Also, imagine he actually steals the Master Sword from the pedestal wanting to sell it or something and everyone sees him with it like "How'd you get it? Only the hero can pull it out of the stone!" before they all realise.
