I have a theory about Square and Paper Mario. Square developed (Super Mario RPG Legend Of The Seven Stars) came out in 1996 on SNES Square made mario into a RPG before paper mario did. I'm wondering if square is making nintendo change paper mario. Paper mario has already lost the ability of partners and leveling up. I'm just saying why would nintendo make color splash like sticker star.

i'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with square soft square enix or whatever they're calling their company nowadays they had nothing to do with paper mario i just think its a bad decision on nintendo's part which they seem to be making alot of these days

Paper Mario WAS going to be called Super Mario RPG 2 in its beta

I like color splash the way it is, honestly i hate the rpg aspect of paper mario, battles are such a pain, but everything else was fine.

the RPG version seems more interesting becase you can level up and the graficks are a bit strange (the good strange) and its a real RPG stile game
