The execution of Ganondorf to me is one of the best cutscenes in the game because it shows what happened to him before he was able to gain the power he had to conquer Hyrule once again while he was locked away in the Sacred Realm.

    True, but he meets Link at the final battle at Hyrule Castle. After his execution, he gave Zant the power he needed to take over the Twilight Realm, but realized that later Ganondorf was just only using him.
