the Big/Small glitch. i used to do this all the time on NES. its so much easier to do with restore points

the game thinks youre big, but you look small. this way, you can use the fire flower when youre small

how you do it?

you need to get the axe and get hit by bowser at the same time. you need to be big mario, it doesnt matter if you have the fire flower
