    It shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks. If you want to, that's your right. If people have a problem they can just suck it up. You're the artist, you can do what you DAMN WELL PLEASE.

    It seems everytime I create a character that's a suppose to be fursona, I accidentally give them a back story and personality that's very different from mine, and I start to feel less connected to them. Don't get me wrong, Satellite's one of my favorite characters! I just don't know if they should really... Represent me anymore. Btw this is the same thing that happened to my other fursonas.

    That's why I took so long to make my own fursona. I could have easily have made it an existing character of mine, but I wanted it to represent me, not just be a character I used as a stand in for me. I understand where you're comong from.

    Don't worry, I won't forget about Satellite. (and that's saying a lot, considering I have 40+ other ocs) But yeah, I'll have to figure this whole thing out again... Species, colors, patterns, name.... This is gonna take awhile. Anyone want to offer help? I understand if not, because it really is suppose to be my decisions... But you could help brainstorm?

    When I tried thinking specifics like species and such with my fursona, I found it more a hinderance than anything. Instead, try thi king more about features you like. Instead of thinking of it as a whole, break it into parts. At least for me, this made it much easier.
