    that's because it takes no skill to use granted most Choice item users don't take that much skill to use unless they're Pursuit-trappers like Tyranitar or something but Jirachi takes the least skill out of any Choice item user that isn't Talonflame, imo

    "Choice Items are terrible" I'd have to disagree with you there. While it's true that locking you into one move is very restrictive when it comes to defeating specific Pokémon, the extra power/speed you get out of them can be more than worth that cost when used on specific Pokémon. While you obviously can't slap six Choice users on a team and call it a day, they're definitely worth (cont)

    (cont) considering on Pokémon that have the stats to use them. Just as an example, I'm using Choice Band Tyranitar in OU right now. The main role it fulfills is to switch into Pokémon that it walls and use Pursuit as they switch out to essentially get a free KO. This involves switching a lot as Pursuit is pathetically weak on foes that don't switch out, but it's still very helpful (cont)

    Choice users get walled incredibly easily and most of them are setup fodder for other Pokemon Also can be scouted easily, and then the opponent can use that to their advantage and do whatever they want with it They need too much team support to be able to fulfill their upsides
