Hoenn has too much water, Sinnoh has too much snow, Unova has too many bridges, and Johto has too much obvious Japanese influence. Kanto and Kalos are juuust right, though.

and yes I know Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh are all based off of regions of Japan but it's most obvious with Johto imo
