    ok but I noted specifically in my idea that I wanted Mega Hydreigon to be based off of its original design which was inspired by a battle-tank and the Defense gains and Speed drop were representative of it being heavily armored as a result of that and the high Attack gain was moreso as a dump stat to ensure it wasn't too blatantly overpowered

    Actually on second thought, my version does stand a chance against Primal Groudon 252+ SpA Abomasnow (Mega Hydreigon) Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 200 SpD Primal Groudon: 228-270 (56.4 - 66.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 0 SpA Primal Groudon Lava Plume vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Abomasnow (Mega Hydreigon) in Harsh Sunshine: 88-104 (27 - 32%) -- guaranteed 4HKO (Even less after attack drops from Intimidate)

    but here's the thing: I didn't mean "tank" in the figurative sense, I meant it in the literal sense Hydreigon (and by extension its pre-evolved forms) were originally supposed to be cyborg dragons instead of being based off the Yamata no Orochi, and their designs had elements of battle-tanks as well (you can still sort of see treads if you look at Hydreigon's abdomen and tail).
