Charlie Brown and Lucie van Pelt's Unrequited Love

While they drive each other crazy in the comics and television specials, they manage to keep a mutual relationship. There are times when they almost became more than friends. Example, Charlie attempted to hold Lucie's hand when crossing the street, and on another comic, Lucie attempted to kiss Charlie's pitching hand.
