OR/AS may be lacking compared to Emerald at least in terms of post-game content (Delta Episode was cool but it's not the Battle Frontier), but it's still easily better than X/Y imo.

    not necessarily, as I said in this post I think OR/AS are better than X/Y but X/Y are still worth owning I think, and OR/AS didn't do that much to improve on R/S/E if you already own Emerald don't bother
