Of all the things in the defunct Nintendo Power, the most infamous was the Mask 2 contest. In issue 77 in Oct 1995, there was a contest to be an extra in the Mask 2. But production stopped when Jim Carrey refused to reprise his role. Nintendo Power eventually made a public apology... in the final issue. The guy who 'won' was Nathan Ryan Runk from Arbutus MD.
