I absolutely am against censorship in games without exception. I believe creators of art shouldn't have to alter their art to not offend people who don't even buy their games. Removing content is not acceptable in my opinion, and I don't support games that are censored. It is sad so many devolopers try to censor their games. How are people ok with horrible violence, but not showing skin?

    heres the thing though, games are not treated as art, they're seen as a business before anything, so they cut content to maximize profits.

    true, but my opinion still stands about them. I don't like having 1 region have much more content than the other causing the one with less content to be an inferior version of the game. When content is removed the price doesn't drop either. By not supporting censored games it helps the cause to make devolopers see worse sales which comes with censoring a product.

    meh i don't know, i don't see the reason of making a stink about a game having certain things removed just for localization and certain LAWS dictating so, even then its mostly aesthetic things and nothing tied to gameplay.

    I don't mind importing to support the original unedited game. It makes playing games a learning experience in translating the dialogue, but this shouldn't be neccessary to play some games.

    FE Fates removed a petting minigame which is definitely more important than some change in costume. That is like if Mario Party didn't get certain minigames for the Europe/US region that the original Japanese version had. Censorship may start with asthetic changes, but can result in censorship of story aspects and features of a game. Not all censorship is equally as bad though.

    ehh it only seems to affect things that come from japan because what flies there won't fly here and sometimes its good changes like fire emblem removing that creepy petting mini game and dumb changes like xenoblade x removing breast sizes but even then if i want big breasts in my game i have a million other options.
