  • MEMESTAR LETS READY FOR FUN

    Yeahs0
  • Miiverse, the social media that evrryone loves, or loves to hate. I don't care where you stand, I'm ranting anyway. Once again, it will be split into sections, so let's start with Section One: Admins

    Yeahs9

  • what is this some sort of information text

    Yeahs2
  • WELL WE'RE OFF TO A GREAT START AREN'T WE? You see, admins will delete anything, and everythig even the slightest bit offensive. If you say someone "Looks Silly" you can bet that the admins will delete it a couple minutes later. Also, they never seem to actually follow the CoC. You can report someone for asking for yeahs, or spamming, (Both of which are clearly against the CoC)

  • n.o.t.i.f.s

    Yeahs0
  • And they won't take it down, but if you post a picture of 2 guys hugging or kissing, the admins will definitely be hunting you down. Finally, the number of notifs you have to get to be banned is unclear, and confusing. I had friends that got banned after 19, but I got banned after 3. And I don't know for sure, but I heard it only takes 1 to get banned now? That's unfair and confusing.

  • Hooraa!

    Yeahs0
  • Enough about admins for now, here's Section 2: Updates Why does Nintendo feel the need to fix something that's not broken? Miiverse was perfectly fine before 6/24, or the redesign. If they want to make it better, why don't they get rid of the previous updates? I don't want to sound like the kid who spams, "GET RID OF THE POST LIMIT!!!!!1!1!" on all of Tom's posts...

    Yeahs7
    Played
  • ...but if they actually wanted to make Miiverse a fun place to be, that's exactly what they should do. Now I'm just rambling. How about I just talk about some SPECIFIC updates. 6/24: Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired. They know that different family members use the Wii U right? Why does my brother have to be punished because I messed up? And it's even worse because...

    Yeahs5
    Played
  • ...getting banned not only removes the privledge of Miiverse, but it completely deletes the NNID sometimes. My brother couldn't play SSB online, or Splatoon, just because I got banned. It's really unfair. Redesign: First the drawing thing. It sorts it by popular drawing, so it makes it really hard for new artists to be noticed. Second, the post limit. The first part of "Social Media" is social.

    Yeahs5
    Played
  • Limiting the conversation to 30 comments, (Assuming you haven't used more earlier.) takes the "social" part away. Also, they added a discussion feature, which would have worked well, if not for the post limit. The redesign was probably the worst update yet. I think I said all I need to say about updates. On to Section 3: Format

    Yeahs5
    Played
  • There wasn't really MUCH wrong with the old format, but this new redesigned one is pretty bad. First of all, you can only see one post from a single user in your activity feed, which is odd. It makes the Activity Feed pretty much useless. Secondly, you can only see popular drawings in the community, instead of all posts. I mean, I like finding good artists to follow, but...

    Yeahs3
    Played
  • ...I also want to find people who make funny/interesting posts, and that makes it really hard. Finally, having only one discussion open at a time is slightly frustrating. Occasionally, I look through the discussion portion of a community, and I find a discussion I would like to comment on. Unfortunately, that discussion is closed because you can only have one open at a time. Why do we even need...

    Yeahs4
    Played
  • ...to close discussions if you don't want to? As far I can see, there would be absolutely no reason to. (Other than to make your users dislike Miiverse even more.) But hey, at least the format is better than TumbIe's. That's all about format. I think I'll move on to something a little different. Section 4: YTC

    Yeahs3
    Played
  • We've all heard bad things about the YTC. We've all probably SAID bad things about the YTC. For starters, they are very "Cringeworthy." (I really hate saying that word.) A lot of the people there are 10-12 year olds asking for a boyfriend/girlfriend. Also the kids there are really dramatic. If you say something like "Hey you might not want to do that, online dating can be dangerous." They'll...

    Yeahs5
    Played
  • ...probably say that they're leaving Miiverse forever. Also, what's with the community's wierd obsession with RPs? I mean, they can be fun sometimes, but why are they so common there? But as "Cringeworthy" as they may seem, the YTCers are probably the most mature of any of the major communities. Speaking of the major communities, Section 5: NSLUC

    Yeahs5
    Played
  • This is like a school presentation except the topic interests me

    Yeahs1
  • WELL IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER DOESN'T IT? I could start with a lot of things, but I'll start with this: NSLUCers are total hypocrites. They constantly tell us how terrible vine memes are, yet they constantly make other awful memes, and think they are hilarious. I mean, vine memes can be annoying, but their memes are pretty much equivalent to that of vine's. They're both...

    Yeahs2
    Played
  • ...uncreative, unfunny "Jokes" repeated over and over. So what makes them think their memes are so funny? Secondly, their vocabulary. If you ever go to the NSLUC again, you will probably see variations of the words "Salt, and Cringe." several times. It is so repetitive, and so frustrating, sometimes I just want to throw my phone out the window. It's not like those words are cool, or funny.
