Treasure Planet

What do you guys think about this movie? I think it's an amazing film and one of the most if not the most underrated Disney movies of all time! Tell me your opinions on it!

It's pretty great, too bad it didn't get the recgonition that it deserves. Captain amelia is one of my favorite characters.

I liked the movie. It was a unique retelling of Treasure Island. It really stood out for me, because it was one of the few animated Disney movies where the characters didn't break into random songs.

It's flawed, but pretty great and unique. Everything about it that takes the story seriously (Silver, Jim, Jim's Mom, the Captain) works perfectly. Unfortunately, the forced "comic relief" characters keep wrecking the story. Still, it's one of my favorites. Silver's one of the best-animated characters ever.

Thanks Rage! It keeps getting ignored and neglected by the Disney company just because it bombed at the box-office! It definetly deserves some popularity! Captain Amelia is awesome too!

Thanks McCloud! Actually, the comic-relief characters are important to the plot like B.E.N for example. He helps Jim and Silver's crew find the treasure and helps them escape from the planet's destruction! So he and the others are not there just for comic-relief! But I will agree that Silver is an amazing character! Especially for a villain with a heart!

I agree as well. Silver, while technically a 'villain', he had shown as much character growth as Jim had, while most of the other characters remained locked in their ways.

Kids always get into trouble so thats not new but the whole point is to dream big and with the right determination you can not only change how ppl see you but achieve good things. Hence why hes seen as a trouble maker in the begining.

Rage is right! No kid is perfect, but he/she will learn to become a better person and less likely to get into anymore trouble! So that's a pretty lame excuse to call it a bad movie just because the main character gets into trouble all the time!
