ratchet and clank, dark souls 3, doom, uncharted 4, homefront, mirrors edge, no mans sky. what a great couple months to be a gamer..... oh, unless you own a wii u....then all you have to do to entertain yourself is draw pictures on miiverse zelda boards.... seriously does any1 else on these boards actually care about how awful nintendo has gotten? or are u content drawing??????

@Mad Luis !!: Nice vent. At this point I'm just hoping for the best. Sure, I'd love to have me some GTA, Uncharted, Mortal Kombat, or Halo, but I really am content with my Ninty. In a perfect world, Microsoft would purchase Nintendo, use it better than they did with Rare, put Rare under Nintendo, and dominate the market.

Once again, we would have perfect gaming union, with Banjo-Kazooie, Rare-designed DK Country, etc. Nintendo fans would get the major third party games (Elder Scrolls, COD, Farcry, etc.) and XBOX people would get Nintendo, without either having to buy multiple consoles.

The Nintendosoft DSX (DS and XBOX, best handheld ever,) would be released, with power equivalent to the XBOX ONE, a real online gaming network, a full button layout, and the combined games of MS and Nintendo.

Finally, Sony would have to sell out, or go bankrupt, and the console wars would end. PC gamers would accept that consoles were superior! Games would return to consoles in perfect gaming synergy!

And when they do listen, it's about the wrong things. Single idiotic whiny fan: "Hey, I wanna waste my money on DLC that should come on disk or be a free update, just like with the other companies!" Nintendo: "Okay, we'll put day-one DLC on Mario Tennis. Also, just in case you wanted DLC reliant games, Mario Party 10 and Animal Crossing Amiibo Party!" Frikkin amiibo...

@Mad Luis, Nintendo made a mistake in making the Wii U less powerful, why? Because they thought it would be a success just like the Wii was. Nintendo is innovate or gimmicky depending on how you look at it, and it is because of this reason that they made the Wii U less powerful. I think Nintendo realizes that they messed up, so maybe they can fix things with the NX. And Rob is wrong!!

What they need to do is brand the nx as the nintendo phoenix, Market the thing toward real gamers, Eliminate all content restrictions. Eliminate the broken ban system in online games. Add a gamechat/partychat. Allow people who want to be trolls the freedom to do so. Xbox is on top not because little kids want it. Daddy buys it to play real games and its cheaper for daddy to buy kids games

than it is for him to buy a whole new console for $300 and some mario games for $40 each. Sonic games and those disneypixar games cost about $10–15 for xb. I want to see them ditch that family friendly anchor and revive the ”(NOW YOUR PLAYING WITH POWER)” Theres a huge market out there for a real console with a real online system. XB is trying to go (E) rated with their online.

They are also beginning to try and control how people play their games. I would buy a weaker game console if it were a real system, had a real online that isn't rated (ec) and wasn't trying to control how I play the games I buy.

I just know that everything that I own that marketed itself as family friendly have all been horrible and not very fun. Everytime you try to make things family friendly it just ruins them. The only family friendly I would support is an I.D. required online system that forbids anyone under the age of 21 from accessing and an I.D. system to prohibit children from buying and playing any T+ game.
