if Game Freak are really done giving non-Eevee older Pokémon new evolutions, then rip Dunsparce's hopes and dreams. they were good while they lasted

  • oh who am I kidding Dunsparce isn't getting an evolution even if more old Pokémon do, it's basically completely forgotten at this point

    Yeahs0
  • Dunsparce is actually well liked in the Pokemon community, a lot of people agree he needs an evolution, the fact he gets so many requests shows people remember him. His design is pretty alright with bumble bee combination. For a Pokemon that needs an evo and is forgotten i'd say..Qwilfish? It's actually still pretty viable so maybe it could get a mega, heck if Mawile got one Dunsparce could too

    Yeahs1
  • Mega Qwilfish would be pretty cool if it kept Intimidate since its current competitive viability is based on the combination of Intimidate + Thunder Wave + Spikes/Toxic Spikes but its current stats are rather lackluster so it'd greatly benefit from a potential Mega's stat boosts. that said though, even with Mega boosts it's not exactly the sort of Pokémon you'd want to use your Mega slot on (cont)

  • (cont) so a normal evolution would be better in that regard. I don't know how I'd feel about giving normal Qwilfish access to Eviolite though since its base stats are rather high for a potential Eviolite user... but then again, it doesn't have any reliable recovery moves to my knowledge so that might not be too bad.

  • I did design a concept for a Mega Dunsparce a while back, i don't remember the exact stat distributions but i remember: It has some sort of Orb that it will use with it's new ability Protean, this is because it has a quite impressive movepool. It's speed gets a drop to 5 thanks to the Orb and i generally tried to keep it's def and sp def pretty good not sure what i did to at and sp at though.
