Is that true? Also, how similar Is this game to pokémon art academy?

    Yes, there are layers, and the toolset is a bit more advanced than the one in Pokemon Art Academy. Layers can't be rearranged, so you have to plan ahead.

    Press home menu and go to miiverse when the game Is minimized. (not everything can be screenshotted though.)

    Yes, the layers are my favorite addition! I wish they would offer the extra tools and layers to Art Academy Home Studio, even if paid DLC.
