I saw your comment in the Miiting thread: "Did you find writing the Koopalings more challenging than other established characters since they've never been given full spoken dialogue before?". I just wanted to point out that they have had spoken dialogue before. If you haven't seen it, Google "The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3" and "Super Mario World" cartoon. There are episodes on YouTube!

They're a bit corny and haven't aged particularly well but I used to love them when I was growing up. They may not be official canon but they still exist, so they shouldn't be discounted! "Hey, King Dad!"

Was fully aware of the cartoons (and also the comics and stuff that they've also appeared in), but I meant specifically in the official games since the characters are more than a bit different from their animated counterparts.
