Why do they keep force retiring my good horses? I really wanted another crack at the Kings Gate. I couldn't even get her half way through a 5 year old before this happened, really disappointed!

  • Grats on the high W/L ratio, tho.

  • From what I understand, if you lose ( = didn't make the first place) 3 times on Year 4, then your horse will be retired. From the looks of your post, it seems two losses at Year 5 are enough. With a previous horse, I lost only one race at Year 6 and I was forced to retire him...

  • You can race into year 6? My best (23/27) retired at the very start of her 6th year before she could even race! Then again... she had just lost the International Cup...

  • Maxon, yes, you can. I won every race with this horse when I started Mature Mode - until the third one on Year 6... Then I lost and I was forced to retire. Wonder if it's possible to reach even further Years...

  • The thing is though I won the previous race and only lost once in her 5 and once in year 4. The kings Gate was due up as well in 2 months and I was forced to retire.

  • Possibly it's cumulative? I mean, one loss at year 4, and the second at year 5... Two losses total, then? Don't know, it's just a hypothesis.

  • Yeah but what's weird is I didn't lose and it wasn't the typical well you should retire her.

  • just here to said that my horse was forced to retire on the middle of yr5 after she WON a race too. i was on track to have a shot at a missing trophy too. :( i think i lost at least once or twice in mature.

  • It's good to hear I'm not the only one but it stinks when you got a good thing going.
