Er...really? Now you need coins for certain stages? O_o That's not right, I need my coins for other things! Although, to compensate, you don't lose any Hearts, but still, I'm already down in coins and don't need to lose more. Plus, I feel like they're now purposely making stages near impossible unless you use items, just to try to force people to buy coins to use them.

    Agreed. sometimes this game is unnecessarily tight. Just glad that so far the Great Ball is only 2500c compared to 3500c for the mobile game.

    This is actually much more helpful. You can easily recover that money lost with a 4 match on Meowth's stage.

    I do not know what the logic is in spending 300 coins to enter a level. Its not fair to those who don't have much coins.

    (to Chris) Yes, and you'd have to waste a heart to enter Meowth's stage and get the coins back anyway, so there's absolutely no point in spending coins to enter a stage. It should always be Hearts.
