    Plus sam, Nintendo themselfs has said that the manga's are not canon. So as far as we know, the old ocarina was deleted.

    I think that everyone can have their own belief about what happened to it. If one person's thought doesn't match up exactly with yours or the makers' etc. it's OKAY ^_^ it really is. Regardless if it's manga or game, or unique thoughts and so on. And yes this drawing is hilarious. Poor Saria lol :)

    Actually, Ganon destroying Saria's ocarina isnt a bad theory at all. In game, he could've destroyed it when he blasted Link for challenging him. i always assumed though that he saw Zelda chuck the ocarina in the moat, and thats how he knew you had the Ocarina of Time.

    My headcanon is the Ocarina of Time is bigger than Fairy Ocarina. Link needs to use it to open the door in Temple of Light, then uses it as adult because it's a better fit for his hand. When he goes back to being a kid, he uses Fairy Ocarina for anything not Hylian Royal Family related. Or keeps it at his house since it is precious to him and he doesn't want it to get destroyed during battles.

    Totally agree with the picture. When stupid Zelda comes along with her fancy-pants magic ocarina, the precious parting gift that Saria gave Link was thrown aside. Very... jerky, Link.
