Do Mii Children Become Adults?

I was wondering if they age or not or if I have to change that in the editor, I know it sounds stupid but I need confirmation.

    a week after they're born, they'll grow up. once they do, you can choose to give them an apartment on your island or to let them travel so they can streetpass others. if you let them stay on your island, then you can edit their info like all other miis.

    no, but you can edit their info and make them adults, or give them an age-o-matic
