If ur trying to unlock some karts pieces. Collect the coins in grand prix until you unlock one. Then repeat the process until you unlock all of them. All kart pieces are unlocked at random. Except for gold pieces. Also, if you win against a streetpass mii. you will unlock a kart piece from the streetpass mii kart. Except for gold pieces.
