    I personally find it better to gun him than to blade him. He moves around too far too much to stay on him with blades so gunning him might be the better choice for you.

    I have some trouble against him too. But I can do it with my LS. So I guess is just a matter of getting its time.

    When it comes down to dodging i'm above average especially with a greatsword, but this monster is pretty fast. I feel like a noob fighting him in a party!

    If you don't want to use a gun weapon, use dual blades. Great mobility.

    Nargacuga is my fav to kill. I use dual blades, (thunder) Can kill him in under 10minutes.

    when I played on the psp I used to solo farmed him with the LS. Ive probably hunted over a hundred in my MH career. Once you get familiar with his movements it'll get easier. You'll eventually get to the point where you can roll through his attacks and make openings of your own. The best thing I can suggest is to look him up on youtube.
