Tried Clashing Fists just now and ended up timing out. The Def Modifier on these super monsters is unnecessary for this very reason. I couldn't even trip Brachydios twice when it was tired by attacking its feet. Makes you feel that weapons aren't strong enough... but if they're made stronger then the normal monsters would cry ridiculously. End of rant...

    Ya those event monsters are the real challenge of this game. G events anyway. Not only do they have high defense but hp as well as insane power, it makes u really have 2 play aggressively yet strategically at the same time and deal good consistent damage on their main weak points. Also gotta have a LOT of power 2 best them but once u get accustomed 2 them and find that right strategy they aint so-

    -bad, although event brach and the large green plesi on Father and Son Outing are the 2 most challenging 2 me still. It took me months b4 i finally bested event brach but the event large green plesi i still haven't bested yet due 2 lack of motivation, its the only G event monster i haven't bested although i DID completed the quest itself b4 or rather the daddy plesi did by slaying the baby lol.

    I've only ever beaten the super Stygian Zinogre ONCE with the Kelbi Bow and that was by stupid luck. Slime on super monsters is next to useless. In Clashing Fists, I used Narga X with Arken Duelcalion and brought Max & Ancient Potions with combines. I still had enough combines for Ancients after 40min.

    Brachy cheaply KO'ed me at full health by dragging me with an insta-leap, and the 2nd time with a horn thrust that caught me by surprise. I checked the timer and had 20sec left so I put a trap but was too late. Brachy just stayed there licking his arms. The super quests are really not worth my time.

    Lol. Ya those quests takes a lot of dedication and willpower and are mainly there for challenge save for the ones that actually rewards u with an event wep/armor but even some of them aren't worthed it really, u'll never catch me trying 2 farm for those glory crowns on that event brach quest lol i only did it solo once successfully just 2 test myself.

    I would totally go for it in a group if I could. I know Brachy's pattern from head to toe, so he'd go down easily in 20/30min with a good group. Can't wait for MH4U to do some online hunting!!
