What were other games sakurai made other than smash bros and kirby? Also has he ever tried making an IP character of his very own?

I think the background's for smash tour where originaly planed to be area's in the scraped story mode they gave up on. meaning we could have had a coral world or a mountain with a lake and a land formation that looks like the smash symbol.

I finally got my hands on the game and it is AWESOME...well worth the wait and then some. Also, I actually enjoyed smash tour...even though it was somewhat confusing I still found it a great deal of fun.

Smash Tour is an... interesting activity. When you play it for your first time you're probably going to be overwhelmed and maybe a little confused by the speed at which so many things happen. I haven't had a chance to play it with other people yet, so I haven't fully experienced its potential. Personally, I think Smash Run is more fun if you're alone.

Definitely forces you to use different characters. It will help when I can use all characters against an amiibo. Even after that, i usually end up lucky and get pit or kirby.

smash tour is ok but I hate it when the fighters are shuffled....

I think he means going through the pipes. At opposite checkpoints when you land on a 5 and go through the nearby pipes you'll end up on the other checkpoint.

I'm sticking to my first glance opinion of this: Wii Party U + Mario Party 10 + Super Smash bros. for Wii U = Smash Tour <sarcastic yay>

Oops, sorry. It's one of the main maps, not unlockable. But Nintendo should make dlc out of Smash tour!!! That could make things more caotic and fun!

Smash tour is strange for me, I hate it but I keep coming back for more. It's like my Love-Hate relationship with Mario Party. Btw if you want to see if your friends are real, make them play this. It destroys friendships faster than Mario Party. But real friends, like some of mine, will keep on playing. Either way Smash Tour becomes the center of any party. Such Chaos! :]

Seeing some ungrateful comments saying they wanted an adventure mode and not a Mario Party type board game mode. The reason there's Smash Tour is because working on an adventure mode would take a lot of time! Much longer than working on Smash Tour that we have. Remember when Brawl was suppose to released in 2007? It's delayed to next year because they still in development on the Subspace Emissary.

What exactly does "by rolling a 5, you can pass through the center of the map to the other end." mean? I've played this and it definitely takes more than that to move across the map
