"I don't know, but it tastes good." Ninja Jake replied. "Besides, Sheik told me to drink it because if I didn't I wouldn't be alive much longer." I went back into the other room and slept on a fur mat

I'm having a hard time choosing how to get to Hyrule. Either we're all hiking somewhere in the woods, get lost, and stumble upon some ruins with a sword in a pedestal and Veronica pulls it, sending…
…all to post-calamity Hyrule. Or one of us buys an ocarina and shows the rest of us his/her skills and, upon playing either the Song of Time or Prelude to Light, accidentally sends us all to Hyrule.
I like the first one, but you could put a little of both in. First, you could have the second one happen and then we all go to Hyrule and then the first one happen after that.
maybe we all find our way to the spirit temple and meet up. then twinrova comes out and takes one of us prisoner and plans to brainwash them. the rest of the ending will come later.
